Rope an Animal Pens: How Animals Earn Money at Your Base
How animal pens work in Rope an Animal: bring catches home, place them at your base, and check each animal's income rate.
Your pen is where a successful catch starts paying off. Rope an animal, ride it back before the Guardian catches you, then place it at your base. Each animal you put down adds to your money per second.
Getting an animal into your pen
The game's official How to Play gives the core route: rope wild animals, ride them to safety, and earn money from them. A recorded run shows animals waiting at the player's base after a catch, including a panda, ladybug, and peacock. The player puts another animal down and immediately notices their income rising.
A cow also appears to be given to the player by someone else. That suggests catches may not be the only way to get animals into a base, but the handoff rules are unclear. Use the placement controls in your current game to see where a new animal can go.
Choosing what to keep
Check the income shown for each animal before deciding what to place. One free zebra in the run earned 500 per second; that is an example, not a rate for all zebras or a ranking against other species. A larger animal is not necessarily more profitable: no link between size and earnings is established.
The available play does not establish a pen capacity, placement cost, or a way to swap or remove animals. The treadmill at your base can be upgraded, but that is a separate facility for training Speed. If you are making room for a new catch, check the pen's live menu rather than assuming the treadmill upgrade changes storage.
